Quote
"Wilderness is an experience. It’s not something you can control. It’s like grace, like love — it happens to you. There are large animals there like bison and buffalo. They could kill you. You’re not going to get help. So it decenters you. This isn’t a stage for humans. It’s their stage too — the plants’ and animals’. I’m part of it. It’s humbling, but also very wonderful and exciting. I’m part of something bigger."
Kieran Suckling, Center for Biological Diversity

Spirit In Nature | Welcome

Diverse paths of wisdom toward an earth restored...

Come join our path center at Spirit in Nature.

Immerse yourself in nature by walking any of the 10 different paths.

Each path is 1/2-2 miles long and includes posted sayings along the way to remind you how deeply connected faith tradition is to nature.

Learn. Meditate. Relax. Enjoy.

After walking the paths, come to the peaceful Sacred Circle, a large 60-foot diameter circle surrounded by towering white pines.

Spirit in Nature is located on 70 acres behind the Robert Frost Trail, with 9000 feet of river and brook frontage in mixed forest and open areas.

Open year around, dawn to dusk, in winter for walking, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing.

Admission by donation.
